Job summary

Menzies Aviation seeks a Ground Service Equipment Mechanic at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. You will repair and rebuild airport service vehicles, inspect parts, and perform engine, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repairs with safety and quality in mind.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly/annual QC checks on refueling equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring safe operation of our equipment for the aircraft services team.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain required Airports and Custom badges/seals.

As member of the Menzies Aviation Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic teamyou will be responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding ofairport service vehicles. You will be required to inspect and identify defectiveor broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines,hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding ofairport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to supporttrucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will be required toinspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as makerepairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectivelyby providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to brokenequipment ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by followingestablished procedures and protocols.
