ALVEST EQUIPMENT SERVICES (AES) seeks a GSE Mechanic in Windsor Locks, CT. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems on ground support equipment, including tow tractors and belt loaders. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and documentation using MIS.

Qualifications include 1–4 years in relevant systems, diesel/heavy equipment repair background, and strong troubleshooting with computer skills. You must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions.

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES

AS A GSE MECHANIC

You'll maintain and repair various ground support equipment (GSE), including tow tractors, belt loaders, pushback tractors, deicers, and more. You'll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems and ensure proper documentation, safety, and quality standards are met.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Use Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) to document all repairs
• Follow safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA)
• Participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 1-4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Must provide own hand tools
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license
• Team player with the ability to work independently

NICE TO HAVE CERTIFICATIONS

• Med/Heavy Truck or Light TruckAutomotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
