Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. in Briggs, TX is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate procurement and fabrication of hardware across launch programs.

You will work with engineers, machinists, and suppliers to ensure on-time, cost-effective builds for Alpha, A330, and Elytra programs. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 1–3 years in manufacturing, with strong CAD (Siemens NX), GD&T, NDE knowledge, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment with welded structures.
• Knowledge of NDE methods for weldments and GD&T familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve work order process across fabrication stages.
• Interface with technicians to resolve design vs as-built issues.
• Make/buy decisions to hit budget and schedule.
• Manage supplier and internal customer relationships.
• Participate in design reviews for operability and manufacturability.
• Create milestone schedules and track build progress.
• Identify and disposition non-conformances.
• Assist engineers with mBOMs, RFQs, and inventory control.
