Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a qualified GSE Maintenance A3 Mechanic at our Erlanger, KY hub (CVG airport). You will perform preventative maintenance, daily scheduled work, and urgent repairs on ground support equipment, utilizing hand tools, electrical testers, and CMMS to diagnose and fix issues.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, safety focus, and the ability to work both independently and in a team, with a valid driver’s license and experience in diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, and electrical

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of service and repair diesel powered equipment.
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex Hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
• Ability to weld.
• Proficient in reading schematics (electrical/hydraulic).
• Able to work individually and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Carry out daily scheduled work and urgent repairs as needed.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using hand tools, electrical testers, and CMMS.
• Operate a wide range of equipment and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain safety and accuracy, report to work consistently.
• Interact with CMMS for maintenance records.
