Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a qualified GSE Maintenance A3 Mechanic for our Erlanger, KY hub (CVG airport). You will perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment, handle daily scheduled work, and address urgent operation needs to keep the airport running smoothly.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, and proficiency with hand tools and CMMS. English fluency and a proactive safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of service and repair of diesel powered equipment.
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
• Ability to weld.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Complete daily scheduled work and address urgent operational needs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and CMMS.
• Operate a large assortment of equipment as required by the role.
• Adhere to lockout/tag out procedures and safety rules.
