Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a qualified GSE Maintenance A3 Mechanic for our Erlanger hub (CVG airport). You will perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment, complete scheduled work, and address urgent issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and effective use of CMMS. Local travel is minimal; safety and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of service and repair diesel powered equipment.
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex Hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
• Ability to weld.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Able to work well individually and in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Carry out daily scheduled work and urgent repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems with CMMS.
• Operate equipment using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Follow lockout/tag out procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain a detail-oriented and proactive work approach.
