Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a GSE Supervisor to lead a shift of technicians in maintaining and repairing ground support equipment on a busy airport ramp. You will supervise Level I–II technicians, ensure safety standards, and support ramp operations with cross-utilization across tasks.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to reliability and safety. Travel to multiple stations may be required, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or related field.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on GSE or similar machinery.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for multi-station support and training.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on ground support equipment.
• Diagnose issues with test equipment and manuals; focus on reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs; ensure regulatory and company compliance.
• Supervise and coach Level I–II technicians; provide hands-on guidance.
• Ensure team safety, training, and proper tools to perform work safely.
• Escalate issues beyond shift scope to the GSE Operations Manager promptly.
