Job summary

Swissport in Seattle is seeking a Fleet Mechanic Supervisor to lead daily GSE maintenance operations, guide technicians, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

You will review Preventive Maintenance, manage inventories, coordinate with ramp and station teams, and support training; requires 1–3 years in GSE maintenance, supervisory experience, and Maximo proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years' experience of GSE/Fleet Maintenance.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certification of completion in heavy duty/Commercial or Automotive mechanic license.
• Knowledge of the Maximo computer maintenance program.
• Good oral and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel for training or to assist other SP stations as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Fleet shop.
• Perform all responsibilities of a Fleet Mechanic.
• Study safety procedures and company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate repairs and servicing with minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide training or recommend training for GSE staff.
• Assist with inventory and budgetary controls including parts ordering.
• Support problem diagnostics and technical questions for equipment.
