Job summary

Modern Aviation in Englewood, CO is seeking a GSE Mechanic / Facility Technician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of ground support equipment, fuel farm assets, and facility infrastructure. The role involves diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with the GSE Manager and Operations teams.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in GSE or facility maintenance, plus experience with diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in ground support equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, hangar doors, and general building systems.
• Ability to operate various aircraft ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair defects on ground support equipment (diesel, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical).
• Perform preventative maintenance and establish maintenance schedules for GSE and fuel farm equipment.
• Respond to equipment failures and perform repairs on downed equipment while maintaining records.
• Perform routine facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, hangar doors, and general building upkeep.
