Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in vehicle inspection.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• May be required to obtain CDL and Class A.
• Military Driver’s license may be required.
• Logistic Readiness Center Card may be required.
• Ability to comply with maintenance allocation charts and report timely.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to obtain commercial license and Class A for inspections.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficient in alphanumeric filing and recordkeeping.
• MS Office Excel skills for recordkeeping preferred.
• Adheres to all safety policies and SOPs.
• Ability to perform under all weather conditions.
• Knowledge in automotive repair and QC inspections.
• Ability to provide detailed reports to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections on GSA vehicles prior to maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles returning to TMP yard and to local repair shops.
• Prepare reports for deficiencies and needed repairs.
• Ensure records are accurate and properly prepared.
• Track data and report maintenance status to supervision.
• Inspect sedans, vans, shuttles, and stake beds with lift and similar vehicles.
• Coordinate with GSA vendors and inform dispatchers of vehicle movements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
