Job summary

CHENEGA HEALTHCARE SERVICES, LLC at Fort Irwin, CA is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to perform technical inspections on all GSA vehicles. You will assess compliance with regulations and manuals, and prepare incident reports as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in vehicle inspection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections prior to vehicles going to the LRC maintenance shop or local repair shop.
• Prepare reports for deficiencies and needed major/minor repairs.
• Ensure records are accurate and properly prepared.
• Track data and report maintenance status to supervision.
• Inspect Transportation Motor Pool vehicles including sedans, vans, shuttles, and stake beds.
• Coordinate with GSA vendors on vehicle status and inform dispatchers of movements.
• Other duties as assigned
