Job summary

Presence is hiring a Marketing Web Developer to own and optimize our WordPress-driven web presence, ensuring accessibility, security, and performance. You’ll translate Figma designs into production-ready pages, implement SEO and AI-ready strategies, and collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to drive measurable growth.

You’ll manage projects from brief to launch, analyze performance, and build dashboards for stakeholders while supporting a remote-first culture that values cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and maintaining production websites with extensive WordPress experience.
• PHP and custom WordPress theme or plugin development.
• Git and modern development workflows, ideally on WP Engine.
• REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• GA4 and Google Tag Manager configuration for measurement.
• Ability to build reports and dashboards for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong SEO knowledge including AI search visibility.
• WCAG 2.2 accessibility knowledge and best practices.
• Experience owning a production system and patching processes.
• Translate Figma designs into polished, on-brand pages.
• Self-directed with strong prioritization and communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own website management end-to-end, from brief to launch with clear metrics.
• Lead SEO strategy, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams on feasibility and implementation.
• Translate design systems into production-ready WordPress builds.
• Implement responsive design for multi-device usability.
• Build automated reporting on web and search performance.
