Moog Inc. is seeking a Growth & Transformation Manager onsite in Buffalo, NY, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The role drives factory modernization, automation, and Lean initiatives to scale Propulsion Systems production in East Aurora and Niagara Falls facilities. You will own readiness pipelines, align across engineering, quality, and supply chain, and lead NRE ramps for high-reliability components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years leading operational readiness, Lean, and structured problem solving.
• Proven track record stabilizing processes and improving performance through systems.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Propulsion Systems readiness pipeline for new ramps, transitions, and rate capability.
• Ensures systems, people, equipment, suppliers, processes, and data infrastructure are prepared ahead of need.
• Partners with Value Stream Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive quality-focused manufacturing process innovation.
• Translates customer demand into actionable operational readiness plans with Program Management.
• Collaborates with Supply Chain to align supplier readiness with internal readiness.
• Leads non-recurring efforts for production acceleration programs and other growth demands.
• Drives capital readiness to support rate; influences design decisions to improve manufacturability.

We are currently seeking a Growth & Transformation Manager to own modern factory, automation, and innovation initiatives, production ramp non-recurring engineering (NRE), partner in supply chain readiness and Lean Management System progression. As the strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving three key operational thrusts: Transformation & Readiness, Production ramps, and Manufacturing Innovation initiatives. This role exists to build the innovative manufacturing systems, discipline, and performance capability required for the Propulsion Systems Business Unit to scale execution, stabilize processes, and deliver predictable, high‑reliability components at rate. You will partner across Value Streams, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to proactively prepare for demand and elevate the operational excellence of the business. You will report directly to the Director of Operations and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment across the East Aurora and Niagara Falls facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
• Minimum of seven (7) years in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing operations.
• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated leadership in operational readiness, Lean, and structured problem solving.
• Track record of stabilizing processes and improving performance through systems.
• Strong ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Travel – Domestic and/or international travel required

Responsibilities

• Owns the Propulsion Systems readiness pipeline for new ramps, transitions, and rate capability.
• Ensures systems, people, equipment, suppliers, processes, and data infrastructure are prepared ahead of need.
• Partner with Value Stream Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive quality focused innovation in manufacturing process.
• Works with Program Management to translate customer demand into actionable operational readiness plans.
• Partners with Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness mirrors internal readiness.
• Lead the non-recurring efforts for production acceleration programs and other emerging growth demands.
• Drive capital readiness to support rate.
• Aligns with Engineering to influence design decisions that reduce risk and improve manufacturability.
• DFx Focused to ensure programs have production focused tolerancing and producibility built into design.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $125,000.00–$175,000.00
