Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Strategic Manager in Johns Creek, GA, on-site, with a base salary of $100,000–$140,000. You will drive North American growth through corporate strategy, new business development, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives.

You will evaluate opportunities, strengthen existing businesses, and help develop mid-to-long-term growth strategies across North America. Strong market analysis and negotiation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, strategic planning, new business development, corporate development, or strategic investments.
• Background in manufacturing, industrials, chemicals, advanced materials, automotive-related sectors, or similar industries.
• Strong North American market analysis, business planning, and growth strategy experience.
• Experience developing market-entry, expansion, partnership, or new business strategies.
• Strong commercial due diligence, competitive analysis, communication, and negotiation skills.
• M&A, joint venture, strategic investment, partnership, or deal execution experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze North American markets, competitors, customers, regulations, supply chains, and value chains
• Develop growth, market-expansion, product-extension, and partnership strategies
• Identify new opportunities across advanced materials, space/defense, energy, and other strategic markets
• Develop market-entry strategies through greenfield expansion, joint ventures, partnerships, and M&A
• Identify and engage strategic partners, customers, and investment targets
• Structure partnerships and joint ventures and support negotiations
• Conduct commercial due diligence and evaluate strategic fit, synergies, and investment opportunities
• Support M&A, strategic investments, JVs, and partnerships through outreach, negotiation, contracting, and execution
• Support pilot projects, early-stage commercialization, and long-term growth planning
