Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Growth Strategy Associate to forecast space needs and build the data tools the team uses to do it. You’ll join the Strategic Real Estate planning group and report to the Director of Strategic Real Estate.

You’ll turn headcount and program plans into 5–10 year supply forecasts, track plan vs actual, and develop LLM-based tools to automate data extraction and slides for leadership reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or demonstrable technical ability.
• 2–4 years of experience in data science, analytics, consulting, FP&A, capacity planning, or real estate.
• Regular use of LLMs in work, including building with an API, agent framework, or automated workflow.
• Interest in data science shown through work or personal projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• U.S. citizenship required; security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the models behind our quarterly portfolio forecast, pulling in headcount and program plans.
• Track plan vs. actual from version to version and explain changes.
• Forecast office, R&D, and production space demand against supply and size gaps by market/year.
• Model scenarios such as program wins/losses, M&A, relocations.
• Build and maintain utilization metrics and investigate sites that look off.
• Work with Talent to inform location strategy and site timing.
• Extend planning data pipeline in Palantir Foundry using Python and SQL, with version-controlled datasets.
• Build LLM-based tools to automate data extraction, reconciliation, analysis, and slide production.
• Prepare slides and memos for leadership reviews and present work to division leaders.
