Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a Controller to partner with the CFO to scale the accounting organization for the next growth stage. You will manage external Audit relationships, evolve finance systems and controls, and lead the organization through high-scale operations.

You will oversee close processes, provide technical accounting leadership for software/SaaS revenue, and build a high‑performing team. This role reports to the CFO in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Experience leading external audits and building scalable close, reporting, controls, and accounting processes.
• Big 4 experience and CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with revenue recognition in software/SaaS, services, and consumption-based models.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO to scale accounting org and infrastructure for growth.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and efficiency.
• Own external audit relations and evolve policies, controls, and governance.
• Oversee NetSuite implementation and finance system optimization.
• Support international expansion, new entities, and statutory reporting.
