Job summary

Propeller Industries is seeking a Practice Leader & Client CFO, Growth to build and scale the Growth Stage practice. You will own the commercial engine, embedded delivery teams, and strategic relationships, driving growth from $30M to $300M and beyond for consumer, technology, and services clients.

You’ll lead the Growth practice’s expansion, recruit and place controllers and CFOs across portfolios, and partner with boards, PE sponsors, and investors to deliver strategic insights and growth

Qualifications

• 15+ years in finance/accounting with senior leadership experience
• Direct experience scaling companies from $30M to $300M+ in revenue
• Demonstrated AI fluency in finance workflows
• Track record building and developing teams across multiple clients
• Multi-client or consulting background preferred (Big 4, PE, advisory)
• Strong executive presence; comfortable with boards and sponsors
• Experience building scalable financial infrastructure (ERP transitions, reporting, planning)

Responsibilities

• Own the Growth practice's expansion: pipeline, bookings, retention, and P&L.
• Lead embedded teams and manage client portfolios with capacity planning.
• Develop go-to-market strategy and grow private equity/investor referrals.
• Serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for key accounts.
• Drive pricing, resource allocation, and engagement scope.
