Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a Product Manager to lead growth initiatives within the Growth Pillar. You will own product strategy and execution across opportunities aimed at improving user retention and daily active users, collaborating with design, writing, and engineering to ship engaging features.

You will work cross-functionally to develop new ideas, run fast experiments, and turn learnings into strategy that helps millions of learners form lasting language habits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a PM on a consumer mobile product.
• Significant experience owning growth-related features and retention metrics.
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to run experiments to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own growth strategy and execution for a growth-focused area, from ideation to iteration.
• Drive the team’s roadmap across high-impact growth workstreams with DAUs as the north star.
• Lead product features through their lifecycle: ideation, prioritization, development, launch, analysis, and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, ML/AI partners, product writers, and designers to create retentive experiences.
• Improve core metrics such as retention (short and long term), engagement, and feature adoption.
• Partner closely with leadership to shape the direction of one of Duolingo’s top teams for driving top-line impact.
