• Executive product leadership in consumer tech with measurable impact on DAUs or revenue.
• High judgment and operational rigor, with forecasts met without harming user experience.
• Leading managers of managers and developing senior product leaders.
• Experience guiding change: reorganizations and new operating models.
• Cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Data and Marketing.
• Deep fluency in growth, monetization, freemium and subscriptions, with experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Own DAUs and revenue, Duolingo's two hero metrics, and deliver both against forecast.
• Manage pillar leads who run Growth and Monetization, a ~20 PM org.
• Coach and develop senior product leaders and raise talent bar.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to make tradeoffs and ship quickly.
• Build world-class product operating mechanisms: north star metrics, rituals, A/B testing.
• Allocate resources across Growth and Monetization, balancing steady optimizations with bigger swings.
• Be the single voice for Growth and Monetization at executive level: progress, risks, and plan.
