Job summary

Discord is seeking a Product Designer to join Growth and help shape how people find Discord, get set up, and stay connected over time.

You will own end-to-end Growth initiatives across notifications, onboarding, off-platform surfaces, and web experiences, collaborating with PMs and engineers to ship thoughtful, data-informed designs.

This role requires a strong visual and interaction design foundation and proficiency with Figma.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product design experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong visual design foundation with typography, color, hierarchy, and composition.
• Solid interaction design skills for multi-step experiences and design systems.
• Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end initiatives across Growth across platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Web).
• Design with high craft and velocity; produce specs and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Influence scope and strategy with PMs, engineering leads, and cross-functional teammates.
• Use data and research to inform decisions and validate designs.
• Think in systems to connect discovery, onboarding, off-platform touchpoints, and re-engagement.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively; share work early and tell design rationale.
• Drive projects autonomously and manage timelines.
