Job summary

Discord seeks a Product Designer for the Developer Platform team to design player-facing experiences that connect game studios, players, and Discord across in-game overlays, the Discord client, and mobile surfaces.

You’ll own the end-to-end design process from exploration to launch, prototyping invites, presence, and shareable moments, while collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure parity and quality across desktop and mobile.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience designing and shipping a web/app product for multiple devices and platforms.
• Experience designing consumer-facing mobile features (iOS/Android) beyond responsive web.
• Ownership mindset with bias toward action to drive projects forward.
• High craft bar with attention to UX, visual design, interaction, and prototyping; proficient in Figma.
• Ability to explain complex problems simply and when to use wireframes, decks, prototypes, or specs.
• Experience working within a design system and contributing to it.

Responsibilities

• Embed within the Player Experience squad and partner with designers, engineers, PMs, and data scientists to design the player-facing side of studio integrations from concept to launch and post-launch iteration.
