Job summary

Tin Can is seeking a Software Engineer, Growth to own the systems behind how families discover Tin Can. You’ll manage the Shopify storefront and lead the referral program, building tools for growth marketers to launch landing pages and integrate with backend services.

You will work with growth, brand, and engineering teams to implement tests, observability, and reliable integrations. This role focuses on shipping high-quality growth tooling with a strong emphasis on trust and simplicity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and running customer-facing web applications, with real ownership of what you shipped.
• Strong TypeScript across the stack with production APIs (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers).
• Experience building integrations across third-party platforms and handling idempotency/reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own our Shopify storefront for acquisition, launches, and seasonal campaigns.
• Build our referral program end to end — invitations, eligibility, reward fulfillment, and attribution data.
• Own integrations where an order becomes a customer, an activation, and a reward.
• Turn campaign glue into services with owners, tests, alarms, and rollback.
