Job summary

Rain is seeking a Senior Partnerships Leader in New York to own the growth strategy for stored value and branded payments, from opportunity to launch. Build a partner pipeline and lead commercial negotiations while shaping pricing and GTM sequencing. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align roadmap with market needs.

You will report to the Head of Payments as a senior individual contributor, and work in a hybrid NYC office 3 days a week, with established US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services or branded payments.
• Proven BD/partnership track record with deal making.
• GTM strategy experience in payments or tech.
• Cross-functional work with product and engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hybrid NYC office 3 days/week; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Own growth strategy from opportunity identification to launch.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners.
• Lead commercial conversations and structure deals.
• Shape go-to-market positioning, segments, pricing, and sequencing.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate feedback into roadmap.
• Ensure commercial commitments are grounded in what can be built.
• Collaborate with GTM and Partnerships on a coordinated market approach.
• Set strategic goals and report progress to leadership.
• Represent Rain externally with partners, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
• Report to the Head of Payments as a senior individual contributor.
