Job summary

GAF is seeking a Production Supervisor in Savannah to oversee rotating shifts across process, packaging, maintenance, and yard teams. You will lead safety, quality, and productivity through direct supervision and coordination of staff.

Your role includes driving continuous improvement, addressing equipment issues, ensuring accurate timekeeping, and supporting attendance management while maintaining cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred in Engineering, Business or related fields.
• 3 years as a production supervisor or 5 years as lead operator in industrial manufacturing or 1 year supervisory with a bachelor degree.

Responsibilities

• Drive productivity and continuous improvement through goals, training, and machine operation within specs.
• Maximize production efficiencies and minimize yield losses while maintaining safety and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues affecting run rates, downtime, or quality.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following safety policy and training standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies; inspect plant areas and address deficiencies.
