Job summary

Ayres Associates in Minnesota seeks a licensed Professional Surveyor to lead surveying projects, develop scopes and cost estimates, and foster client relationships. You will support teams, perform QA/QC, and help grow the survey service line while balancing field and office duties.

The role requires a Minnesota PLS or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months, 5–10 years of survey experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, Trimble Business Center, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or related field.
• PNL/PLS in Minnesota or able to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with topographic and boundary surveys, stakeouts, ROW plats, and control surveys.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes, cost estimates, and proposals.
• Work directly with internal and external clients.
• Perform business development activities.
• Support survey and CAD technicians through all project phases.
• Perform QA/QC on survey projects.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety practices.
