International Industrial Development Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end closing under the supervision of the CFO and Assistant Controller.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven office in Florida. This in-office position offers health insurance and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including transactions, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and the preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain supporting documentation and assist with audits, tax preparation, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Review and analyze multiple credit card statements, verify and categorize transactions, and record designated expenses in Excel worksheets.
