Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discuss present and future repair requirements
• Test drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic equipment
• Inspects vehicles for damage and records findings to ensure necessary repairs
• Tests and adjusts repaired systems and equipment to meet manufacturer specifications
• Estimates the cost of service and repairs while reviewing work orders
• Collaborates with other service team members and service manager to provide excellent service
• Performs routine maintenance such as oil changes and tune ups using checklists
