Job summary

Jobot, a design-build general contractor in Madison, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help manage construction projects from initiation to completion. You will work alongside senior project managers and field staff to align activities with quality, safety, and budget requirements, while growing in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate holds a related bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of construction experience, with proficiency in Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project assistant or coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, with the ability to identify problems and suggest solutions.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities
