Foss Swim School in Western Springs, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the school leadership team. You will organize and execute tasks across the office, retail, and reception areas while mentoring the team and ensuring high-quality Swim Path curriculum and facility standards.

This program emphasizes operational and financial performance, employee engagement, customer service, and growth toward leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Must obtain American Red Cross CPR/First Aid within the first 90 days of employment; FOSS will cover costs.
• Experience in retail, health and fitness, restaurant, or related fields preferred.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor front-office staff and instructors.
• Oversee class enrollments, scheduling, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Support General Manager to achieve financial goals, manage budgets, staffing levels, and KPIs.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and safety standards.
• Travel to multiple school locations during Assistant Manager Training Program.
