Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator at our Wapak facility in Ohio. The role focuses on operating a clamp truck to supply the corrugator with paper material, maintaining safety and efficiency across production lines.

Responsibilities include roll room management, inventory control, and supporting the corrugator team to maximize uptime. OSHA rules apply; prior lift truck experience is preferred while a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; lift truck experience preferred.
• Must have completed training for powered industrial trucks (license).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Math: read a tape measure and perform basic calculations in English/metric units.

Responsibilities

• Operate a clamp truck to supply the corrugator with paper material.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and organize the roll room.
• Manage roll stock, inventory, and end-of-shift consumption reconciliation.
• Provide backup to Roll Handler as needed and adjust to scheduling changes.
