Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Watford City, ND is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Associate to manage inventory and support procurement, sourcing, and quoting for B2B customers at the 3000 2nd Ave SW location.

You will handle branch inventory, purchase orders, pricing estimates, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth customer service and timely deliveries. This role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication, and a proactive, organized approach.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver7s license with ability to meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or have a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service or industry related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
