Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Williston, ND is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to support inventory management, procurement, sourcing and quoting for our customers.

You will handle branch operations at 2211 2nd Ave W, Williston, ND 58801, coordinate resources and assist with accounts receivable, while maintaining 15–28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with ability to meet driving requirements
• Pursuing or completed degree in Business or related field OR relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Self‑motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
• Strong organization and prioritization
• Strong problem solving and decision making
• Demonstrates core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels
• Administer procurement including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimate and quote prices and source products
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle
• Perform other duties to support branch success
