Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is seeking an Assistant Director of Rooms to support the Director of Rooms in overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Bell, and Concierge operations. You will lead a high-performing team in a luxury, high-touch resort environment, focusing on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous Rooms Division leadership experience required.
• Experience in roles such as Director of Rooms, Assistant Director of Rooms, Front Office Manager, or Executive Housekeeper preferred.
• Strong understanding of front office, housekeeping, guest services, and luxury guest experience.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Bell, Concierge, and guest arrival/departure experiences.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and seamless operational execution across all rooms-related departments.
• Train, coach, and develop rooms leadership and hourly colleagues to deliver Forbes-level service standards.
• Partner with resort leadership to ensure guest expectations are anticipated and exceeded.
• Oversee room readiness, guest satisfaction, room inspections, arrival/departure flow, and service recovery.
