Job summary

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is seeking a Director of Finance who demonstrates a growth mindset and is ready to grow their career. The role oversees all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence to financial regulations and standards.

The individual in this role plans, organizes, directs, and controls the financial and control function of the division, reports operational results, and provides financial support to hotel management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance with hospitality/retail experience preferred.
• 2+ years in director-level leadership within hospitality or complex environments.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with POS (Simphony, Infrasys), PMS (Opera), Oracle, ADP/Enterprise, Kronos preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements with department input.
• Lead hotel on- and off-site accounting, budgeting, month-end close, and cash management.
• Develop and implement the annual business plan aligned with objectives.
• Oversee year-end processes and coordinate external auditors' visits.
