Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years in category management, merchandising, or product management in retail or convenience store environments.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Collaboration across teams and data-driven decision making.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in category management software, retail analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Creativity, curiosity, and innovation; ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Customer focus with understanding of center store categories.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising Support: assist in planogram resets, shelf sets, product placement, and maintain planograms.
• Promotion Building: assist development and execution of promotions, track performance, post-promotion analysis.
• Administrative & Analytical Support: data entry, reporting, analysis for category reviews, vendor meetings.
• Career Development: build knowledge of category management principles and strive to independently manage categories.
