Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Growth Merchant Lead to open new markets and bring restaurant partnerships onto the platform. This high-velocity in-person sales role focuses on emerging Tier 4-5 markets with extensive travel (70%+), including overnight trips, and requires you to build a playbook from the ground up.

You will report to a Regional Sales Manager, work cross-functionally, and participate in trainings and offsites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of in-person, outside B2B sales experience.
• Proven success in short, high-velocity sales cycles with same-day closes.
• Strong prospecting, hunting, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel 70%+ and work in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Expand DoorDash’s presence by traveling to emerging markets and developing restaurant partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end, in-person sales cycles: prospect, pitch, negotiate, close.
• Sell DoorDash’s value and secure revenue-share agreements with business owners.
• Maintain high-volume field activity and close deals quickly.
• Build scalable market expansion playbooks and strategies.
