Job summary

Portland Media Group in Portland, ME is hiring a Media Advisor to sit across from real business owners and build multi-platform media plans that drive growth. This consultative, relationship-driven role offers uncapped commission and a base salary with strong earning potential.

You’ll work with paid search, streaming audio, CTV, and targeted display campaigns, blending existing accounts, inbound leads, and your own outreach. Training is provided from day one, with no ceiling on what you can earn.

Qualifications

• A few years of real-world sales or customer-facing experience.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners.
• Comfort with consultative, solution-based selling.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to platforms.
• Strong closing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Get face time with decision-makers — owners, GMs, marketing directors.
• Build multi-platform campaigns across paid search, streaming audio, CTV, display, and broadcast.
• Work a mix of existing accounts, inbound leads, and your own outreach.
• Get trained on the tech, not just told to “figure it out.” We invest in you from day one.
