Job summary

Empire Today, LLC is seeking a Director, Growth & Marketing Strategy to serve as de facto Chief of Staff to the Chief Growth and Marketing Officer. This leader will drive strategy, prioritization, alignment, and planning across Growth and Marketing initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to move the business forward.

The role is hybrid, requiring regular presence in the Chicagoland area, and involves partnering on materials for executive review while guiding performance across the customer

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in strategy/management consulting.
• 4–7 years in strategic planning at growth, CX, and tech.
• 3–5 years leading highly visible cross-functional projects.
• Intellectually curious, inquisitive, thoughtful, and a good listener.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional strategic planning across Growth, Marketing, and Customer Experience with goals, metrics, and investments.
• Lead performance across the customer journey from first impression to installation, diagnosing performance and tracking results.
• Manage cross-functional project teams for growth and marketing initiatives from development to evaluation.
• Prepare materials for the Executive Team or Board on growth, brand, and customer experience strategy.
• Be a flexible, influential self-starter who operates on leadership's vision in-market.
• Support Empire’s Strategy and Business Development in evaluating new growth investments.
• Perform related duties as required.
