Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, 40 hrs/week, with potential to convert to full-time
Compensation: $48-$58/hour Based on Experience
Reports To: Chief Brand & Commercial Officer (CBCO)
Start: Immediate
About the Role
A well-established (13-year) CPG company is launching a new e-tailer platform focused on functional CPG products, going live in September. We're hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own paid acquisition, affiliate, and creator/social channels from the ground up — a true 0-to-1 build inside an established, resourced company.
What You’ll Own
- Build, launch, and optimize the acquisition engine across Meta, TikTok, and Google, managing an external paid media agency, holding them accountable to performance, and proposing budget reallocation based on results
- Set up and manage the affiliate program (ShareASale and/or Awin), from platform build to partner recruitment and payout management
- Build and manage the creator/influencer network, sourcing, vetting, negotiating, content approval, and ROI measurement (directly or via agency)
- Total Ownership of social media management: content calendars, creative production (Canva, on-brand), and community building
- Set up backend tracking and attribution across Shopify, GA4, and ad platforms; build and present C-suite-level reporting on acquisition performance and budget decisions
- Manage the full acquisition budget in partnership with the CBCO
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and the web/dev team to set up and manage programs
Requirements
- 5-7 years in growth/acquisition marketing, with at least 2-3 years in DTC/ecommerce specifically (not brand-side CPG only)
- At least one prior 0-to-1 launch or experience owning agency relationships as the client-side decision-maker
- Hands-on fluency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads/GA4. Able to read, question, and direct agency reporting, not just receive it
- Hands-on experience with ShareASale and/or Awin
- Proven track record managing budgets and creator/influencer programs
- Experience managing projects and build-outs as acquisition owner in a fast-moving, pre-launch environment
- Operationally minded, anticipates dependencies before they become blockers and proactively flags risks and dependencies rather than waiting to be asked
