4As in New York is seeking a Manager, Membership Growth to expand the agency community through research, outbound outreach, and lead qualification. You will work with the VP of Membership Growth to build a healthy pipeline and move opportunities through the sales process.

You enjoy talking with people, stay organized, and want a long-term career in business development and sales within the advertising industry. This role offers growth and meaningful collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in business development, lead generation, recruiting, customer success, sales development, membership, media, or marketing.
• Exceptional organization.
• Comfortable initiating conversations.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
• Curiosity about advertising and marketing.
• Detail-oriented.
• Coachable.
• Preferred: Agency experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect Research & Lead Generation: Research prospective agencies using LinkedIn, industry publications, databases, and referrals.
• Build targeted prospect lists.
• Maintain accurate prospect profiles.
• Outbound Outreach: Conduct email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
• Schedule meetings for the Director.
• Nurture prospects not yet ready to join.
• Create dashboards and reports.
• Recommend improvements to sales processes.
• Coordinate follow-up activities.
• Assist with proposals.
• Support conference lead capture.
