Job summary

Primer is seeking a seasoned growth and operations leader to own the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit and Alabama School Choice Tax Credit programs. You will drive program development, negotiations with SGOs, and align Primer’s Bursar and Foundation teams to maximize access for working‑class families.

This role demands a hands‑on generalist capable of paid acquisition, local marketing, and business development across multiple states.

Qualifications

A true, seasoned generalist who executes across operations, marketing, and external‑facing work.
Proven track record in dollars generated, deals closed, or revenue growth.
Comfort negotiating with external partners.
Experience running or directing paid acquisition and understanding performance channels.
Ambitious growth with a willingness to scale over 24 months.

Responsibilities

Federal Tax Credit Programs: own SGO relationships, set funding amounts, establish timelines, and grow the relationship.
Liaise between SGO teams and Primer internal teams (Bursar, Foundation, Legal, Finance).
Launch and run Primer’s in‑house SGO growth engine: paid acquisition, landing pages, and creative.
Alabama Tax Credit Programs: run outreach to corporate prospects capable of utilizing substantial credits.
Build individual donor growth through paid acquisition and Primer’s network.
Own growth end‑to‑end with annual targets, creatives, and contractors.
