Job summary

Primer is seeking a General Manager to lead the growth and operations of its Federal Scholarship Tax Credit Program and the Alabama School Choice Tax Credit. You will own relationships with national and state SGOs, negotiate terms, and manage funding timelines across states.

The role requires a seasoned generalist who can drive paid acquisition, local marketing, and business development, while coordinating with legal, policy, and finance teams to scale impact.

Qualifications

• A true, seasoned generalist who executes across operations, marketing, and external-facing work.
• You've owned a number before and can explain how you drove dollars, deals, or revenue.
• Comfort negotiating with external partners.
• Experience running or directing paid acquisition; you understand what a well-performing channel looks like.
