Job summary

Planted is hiring a Growth Lead in Oakland, CA to scale a high-value buyer segment: hyperscalers, neoclouds, and AI factories. You will own the customer relationship from first contact through signed agreement, coordinating engineering, supply chain, legal, and finance to craft the right deal and then hand off to delivery.

You will build a repeatable motion for high-velocity growth, combining technoeconomic rigor with commercial execution, and help Planted scale its distributed solar and storage

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial roles at energy, infrastructure, or hard-tech.
• Experience with physical assets and capital-intensive decisions.
• Hands-on experience in technoeconomic modeling and deal structuring.
• Credible with technical buyers and executives.
• Able to move quickly and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end customer ownership from first contact to signature.
• Develop technoeconomic models for each deal.
• Identify and assemble required internal/external experts.
• Transition deals to delivery with context and commitments.
• Build repeatable commercial motion beyond individual deals.
