Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to own and execute Growth and Interconnect projects. You will lead multiple projects from development through construction, commissioning, and asset handover, coordinating internal and third-party resources to deliver safe, compliant, and reliable facilities.

You will integrate design baselines, schedules, and procurement strategies while engaging stakeholders across Engineering, Construction, Operations and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive engineering and project execution in natural gas, pipeline, or energy.
• Experience designing or reviewing natural gas meter stations or related facilities, including equipment selection and reviews.
• Experience leading projects through development, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, startup, handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for Growth and Interconnect projects, including pipelines and stations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for meter station and facility design, including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs.
• Develop procurement packages, evaluate proposals, and manage engineering contracts with stakeholders.
• Oversee internal and third-party engineering resources, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
• Support commissioning, startup, and turnover, resolving RFIs and field issues.
• Identify long-lead equipment early and manage procurement timing to protect schedules.
