AndHealth LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced strategist to turn senior leaders' ideas into running programs and partnerships. You will build the business case, align stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and design operating models from day one.
As an individual contributor, you may start by supporting current initiatives or joining teams on new ones, with potential to own projects and lead a team. 3–10 years of experience encouraged.
AndHealth is on a mission to radically improve access and outcomes for the most challenging chronic health conditions, with the goal of making world-class specialty care accessible and affordable to all. We partner with health systems, community health centers, and independent practices to remove barriers to care to ensure all people have access to the care they deserve.
AndHealth grows in three ways: new clinical programs, new kinds of partnerships, and growth inside the partnerships we already have. Our partners include community health centers, health systems, specialist practices, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and payers. We have more of these opportunities than people to build them.
This role helps turn ideas from our senior leaders into running programs and partnerships. You'll work out whether an initiative is worth doing and build the financial and operational model behind that decision. You'll align stakeholders, engage partners, build the business case, and work through the negotiation and contracts to a signed partnership. Throughout, you'll design how it runs – workflows, staffing, SOPs, training, and technology – build the first version yourself, and teach it to the team that will own it. Once it's live, you'll track whether it's delivering what the model said it would, hand it off, and move to the next one.
This is an individual contributor role based in Columbus. You'll most likely start by supporting a current initiative or joining a team working on new ones, alongside AndHealth's most senior leaders. The path from there is to owning initiatives yourself, and then to leading a team. We're open to candidates with roughly 3 to 10 years of experience – where you are in that range shapes the level you start at and how quickly you take on full ownership.
This probably isn't the right role if your work has mostly ended at the recommendation and someone else built and ran it, you'd rather direct the analysis than build the model yourself, you need a defined playbook or a fixed place on the org chart before you start, or you're looking to manage a team from day one.
Take new programs and partnerships from discovery through live operation – the analysis, business plan, solution design, SOPs, and training that make it real. Bring the team that will own it in from the start, so the handoff is planned on day one.
Model whether a deal makes sense, who earns what, and how the outcome moves when the assumptions change. After launch, go back to the data to see whether it's working, and explain what you find to senior leaders in plain terms.
Build the case, take it to the partner, work through their questions and objections, and drive the deal to close. Draft contract changes yourself and work with counsel to get to signature.
Act as a super-facilitator across the company. Learn where the knowledge sits, get people who don't report to you to help, and bring the right people together around problems that cut across pharmacy, clinical, product, finance, and legal.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Typically people who do this well come from consulting at a top strategy firm followed by an operating role at a high-growth company; corporate development or strategic partnerships at an acquisitive, growth-oriented company; strategy and operations at a scaling health tech or tech company; or banking or private equity followed by an operating role at a high-growth company. The background matters less than what you did there.
