Job summary

AndHealth LLC is seeking a Data Strategist to ensure programs deliver outcomes and inform executive decisions. You will define success metrics, own KPI cadence, and translate data and market intelligence into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.

You will spend time in SQL and BI tools to drive decisions, driving accountability and follow-through to move key metrics such as patient engagement and program adoption. A Bachelor's is required; MBA or quantitative field is a plus.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Strategist who makes sure the things AndHealth launches actually work and keep working. As new programs, partnerships, and operational changes come to life this role owns the question that matters next: are they delivering, and what do we change if they are not?

You will define what success means for AndHealth's most important initiatives and company KPIs, build the measurement and review cadence that holds the business to those definitions, and turn what the data shows into decisions leadership acts on. You will spend real time in BI tools and SQL, but the job is not reporting. It is converting performance data and market intelligence into executive-ready recommendations, then driving the operational and cross-functional follow-through until the number moves.

This role suits a strategy and operations professional who is tired of handing off recommendations and wants to be accountable for outcomes. Consulting, corporate strategy, banking, or high-growth analytics backgrounds all work. Healthcare experience is valued but not required.

What you'll do in the role

• Define success. Partner with executive and functional leaders to set business KPIs and deep dive into performance and create success metrics for company priorities and newly launched initiatives, so that objectives, incentives, and reporting point in the same direction.
• Diagnose performance. Spend significant time in the data to understand why key metrics — patient growth, pharmacy capture, adherence, referral conversion, operational efficiency — are moving or stalled, and separate real drivers from noise in messy operational and claims data.
• Turn insight into action. Translate findings into clear recommendations: what to change, what it is worth, what it costs, and what we are betting on. Then own the optimization work that follows — process redesign, SOP updates, retraining, or a decision to stop.
• Bring the outside in. Track market, competitor, payer, and regulatory intelligence and integrate it into how AndHealth reads its own performance and prioritizes improvement.
• Drive accountability. Hold cross-functional owners to committed outcomes through KPI tracking, stakeholder alignment, escalation, and hands-on change management — across teams you do not manage.
• Pressure-test assumptions. Challenge the company's operating hypotheses, including the ones leadership is already attached to, and bring evidence when a strategy should be revised or retired.

Education & Licensure Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate degree (MBA or a quantitative, business, or health-related field) preferred but not required.

Other Skills or Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategy, analytics, or operations function at a high-growth company.
• Demonstrated record of owning a metric or outcome — not just the analysis behind it — and moving it.
• Working proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Omni, or similar); able to pull and validate your own data.
• Advanced quantitative and financial modeling skills; fluency in Excel or Google Sheets is assumed.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with proven ability to build executive-ready materials and hold your own with senior leaders.
• Strong influence and stakeholder management skills; able to drive outcomes across teams without direct authority.
• Comfort with ambiguity and imperfect data; able to structure an unstructured problem and make progress.
• Bonus: experience in healthcare, pharmacy, payer, or provider operations.
