Harri in Poway is seeking a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit. You will formulate strategy, manage people and set policies to drive profitability and growth.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful leader with strong decision-making, excellent communication and proven experience in planning, budgeting and operations. You will develop and mentor talent while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe, productive work environments.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a GM or similar executive role.
• Experience with planning and budgeting.
• Knowledge of business processes across finance, HR, procurement, and operations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
• Hire and staff unit
• Motivate and train future leaders
