Job summary

GU Energy Labs, based in Berkeley, CA, seeks a FP&A Manager to drive growth and profitability. You will partner with leadership to evaluate investments, model scenarios, manage budgets, rolling forecasts, margin analysis, and strategic analytics.

You will lead the rollout of Adaptive Planning, advance our FP&A function, and build dashboards for executive decision-making. This hybrid role requires in-office work from the Berkeley HQ Tuesdays–Thursdays, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A, budgeting, forecasting; manufacturing/CPG experience preferred.
• BS in Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Ability to translate complex analytics into a compelling story for varied audiences.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Adaptive Planning and BI tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (D365BC, NAV) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to evaluate investments and opportunities and model scenarios.
• Own gross margin and profitability analysis by product, channel, and customer.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Build dashboards and reporting used by senior leadership.
• Roll out Adaptive Planning and improve FP&A processes.
