United Bank is seeking a Commercial Lender in Jackson, GA to develop loan opportunities and interview customers. You will analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness and work with credit analysts to underwrite facilities for approval.

You will establish terms, prepare commitment letters, and support timely closings while maintaining strong client relationships and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven analytical skills with ability to evaluate creditworthiness from financial data.
• Ability to write concise loan narratives and present approvals clearly.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of ratios, cash flows, and amortization.
• Experience in business development and maintaining a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in business development to generate commercial lending opportunities.
• Builds and maintains relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Interviews loan customers and analyzes financial data to determine creditworthiness.
• Collaborates with credit analysts to underwrite and narrate credit facilities for approval.
• Establishes terms for credit facilities including scope, repayment, and collateral.
• Prepares terms sheets and commitment letters for borrowers.
• Ensures timely loan closings with proper documentation.
