Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring an Accountant in a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA. You will ensure precise financial records, perform reconciliations and deliver insightful financial reports to support growth and decision making.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience, with Excel proficiency. CPA preferred and Spanish is a plus. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, and time off provisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries and cost allocations.
• Participate in month-end close and review of financial results.
• Prepare and analyze periodic reporting for Alfa Laval Inc and subsidiaries.
• Support auditor requests and provide ad hoc financial reports as needed.
• Maintain data warehouse, document SOPs and identify process improvements.
